The Bentley is located just off Exit 9 of the Northway (Interstate 87) in Clifton Park, New York, about 15 miles north of the New York State Capital of Albany. Albany International Airport is just 10 miles to the south. The area was originally named “Clifton’s Park" in 1707 by Naning Harmansen, who bought land in the area from the Shenendehowa Indians. The town was formally established in 1828 and adopted the name Clifton Park in 1829. When Interstate 87, the Northway, was built in 1967, the residential and commercial areas of the town flourished. Today, Clifton Park is one of the Capital Region’s most attractive suburban communities, supporting a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.
